↑ Die Skizzenfassung von »Toxic«. Hier war die Geschichte das erste mal als Comic lesbar und hat uns und unseren
Testleser*innen sowie dem Publishing Board der Reihe »EthnoGraphic« ermöglicht, einen Eindruck von Tempo, Tiefe und Struktur der Geschichte zu bekommen.
The whole graphic novel sketched out. This allowed us to read the story as a comic and
gave us an idea how the pacing and the structure of the story worked. This is also what we
submitted to our publisher and what we sent to colleagues and friends for feedback.
↑ Ein Auszug der Graphic Novel ist 2022 in der jährlichen Reportagecomic-Ausgabe der schweizer Comic-Zeitschrift »Strapazin« erschienen.
We published an excerpt of the graphic novel in the annual reportage issue of Swiss comics magazine Strapazin.
↑ Während der Ausarbeitung der finalen Comicseiten entschieden wir, dass meine Handschrift als digitale Schrift ergonomisch sinvoller
ist, als die Dialoge von Hand zu schreiben. Die Schrift wurde von → Leo Sell gestaltet und ist mit einem dreifachen Zeichensatz ausgestattet.
Eine der besten Schriften, die ich je benutzt habe.
During the process of properly drawing the comic pages (that took literal years) we
decided that having my handwriting as a font would be more ergonomic than doing the lettering
by hand. The font was designed by → Leo Sell. It’s amazing.

Die Graphic Novel war der praktische Teil meiner Masterthesis bei Prof. Markus Huber.
I worked on »Toxic« during my MA at Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design at
Muthesius Kunsthochschule Kiel where the project was supervised by Prof. Markus Huber. »Toxic«
also served as the applied part of my MA thesis.
