Sometime in may 2018, over the course of one weekend, I made a series of drawings in my parents garage which had become more or less my brothers realm. He set up a rather well equipped wood and metal workshop in the small space.
He spent a lot of time there, tinkering an mending things. Originally this calendar was a present for our grandfather. I put some colour and type to use while my brother built the wooden backpart out of some pear tree that had once stood in our grandfathers garden.
A couple of months later, with a bit more time on our hands, we decided to produce some more pieces. This time my brother used oak wood while I went and printed the pages on a risograph, using the colours »teal« and »orange«.
